Uniformly Funny is operated by Black Creek Comics. This notice explains the information collected by the story form and how it is intended to be used.

What we collect: your legal name, email, optional phone number, and chosen public display name. A phone number is required only if you want the entry to be eligible for finalist status and prizes. Service details you choose to provide, such as branch, rank, years, unit or base, and specialty. Your story, title, first- or secondhand label, relationship details, and consent confirmations. Review status and private editorial notes created by Black Creek Comics.

How it is used: information is used to receive and review submissions, contact contributors, verify finalists, administer prizes, confirm publishing rights, edit selected stories, and produce or promote the website and anthology. Private contact information is not intended for publication.

Public credit: if a story is published, the chosen display name and approved service context may appear with it. A legal name, email, or phone number will not be used as public credit unless the contributor separately chooses it.

Retention and choices: Black Creek Comics may retain entries and acceptance records as needed for editorial, contest, legal, and publishing purposes. Contributors may request correction of contact details or withdrawal of an unpublished submission. A contact method and formal retention period must be added before public launch.
